SendGrid, a digital communications platform founded in 2009, has partnered with Fivetran to improve data pipeline management. Both companies specialize in large-scale data delivery. Fivetran builds data pipelines connecting and replicating disparate business data sources to a data warehouse for advanced analytics. SendGrid users can now co-mingle data from their SendGrid accounts with data from other business applications, gaining deep insights into all of that data. The partnership benefits end users by enhancing their ability to perform agile analytics.

Fivetran offers permissions management at a granular level to enhance customer security and data privacy. Customers can limit SELECT permissions for schemas, tables, and even columns with MySQL, Postgres, and SQL Server. Amazon Redshift users should connect Fivetran with the master/admin user for routine maintenance. To address concerns about broad access permissions, Fivetran introduced a second method of authenticating Google Sheets using Service Accounts, allowing per-spreadsheet basis access. However, some G Suite account holders may be restricted by security policies from sharing outside their domain.
