Why starting a side hustle makes you a better full-time employee

I started a side hustle to gain flexibility and extra cash, but it ended up making me better at my full-time job by teaching me how to be organized, prioritize tasks, develop new skills, adopt a business mindset, become a better people person, cultivate flexibility, feel accomplished, and discover what I wanted. These skills and experiences transferred well from my side hustle to my full-time role, enabling me to take on more responsibility, interesting projects, and respect from colleagues.
