How to open a PDF in Google Docs
Blog post from Zapier
Google Docs allows users to open and edit PDFs without having to leave the comfort of Google Workspace. To turn a PDF into a Google Doc, users can upload the file to Google Drive, right-click on it, and select "Open with" > "Google Docs". The conversion process may not be accurate for complicated PDFs, but users can still edit the PDF by applying edits as they would any other Google Doc. If desired, users can use a third-party app like Cloud Convert to preserve original formatting. Additionally, users can link to PDFs stored in Google Drive or upload images of PDFs from third-party apps.
