Meta selects Zapier as named Connector inside Muse
Blog post from Zapier
Zapier has announced that its connector is available in Meta’s Muse agent, enabling authorized users to connect Muse with more than 9,000 applications and 40,000 actions through Zapier MCP. The hosted Model Context Protocol endpoint lets AI agents discover and execute only approved tools while Zapier manages authentication, credentials, integrations, workspace controls, and activity history, allowing teams to use agents across existing business systems without maintaining separate APIs. Users can grant scoped permissions, such as read-only CRM access and Slack posting rights, while connected apps retain their own permissions and API limits and Zapier operates under SOC 2 Type II certification. Users with access to the early-access Next Gen Zaps feature can also ask MCP-enabled agents to create and deploy automations in plain language. Zapier MCP uses Streamable HTTP and supports separate development, testing, and production servers, though sharing server access requires a Zapier Team or Enterprise plan. Availability will depend on Meta’s staged rollout and individual user authorization.
