How to use Zoom hand gestures

Zoom's gesture recognition feature allows users to interact in meetings with hand gestures, such as a thumbs up or raised hand, without needing to click buttons. This capability is disabled by default but can be enabled through the Zoom desktop client settings or during a meeting via the meeting control bar. Once activated, users can make gestures within the camera frame, with the corresponding emoji appearing in the meeting window. Although the feature currently recognizes only two gestures, users with Mac computers can access additional reactions through Apple's supported gestures. Common issues with gesture recognition include the need for precise hand placement, and users should consider disabling the feature in situations where hand gestures play a critical communication role, such as in ASL classes.
