How to restore tabs on Chrome

I can restore Chrome tabs by right-clicking the gray area to the right of my open tabs and selecting Reopen Closed Tab, which allows me to reopen old tabs even if they were in a separate window, and I can also use this feature to reopen all my previous session's tabs after closing out of Chrome completely.
