Summary

Zapier Managed Connections enables Enterprise administrators to create company-owned app connections, such as Salesforce or Slack, and share them with selected users or teams without exposing credentials. This helps maintain Zap continuity when employees change roles or leave, since the company retains ownership of the connection and admins can centrally manage or revoke access while workflows continue running. Managed connections are marked with a shield icon, can be inventoried through CSV metadata exports, and are created from the App Connections page by selecting an app, connecting an account, naming it, and assigning access. Personal connections can still coexist with managed ones, although admins can require company-managed credentials for specific apps by preventing members from creating personal connections. The feature is available to admins and super admins on Zapier Enterprise plans.
