How to compare two Word documents
Blog post from Zapier
When comparing two documents, it can be time-consuming and prone to human error. Fortunately, most word processing apps, including Microsoft Word and Google Docs, have built-in tools to make comparison easier. To compare documents in Word, open a new document, click Review, then Compare Documents, selecting the two documents to compare. In Google Docs, open the first document, click Tools, then Compare documents, entering a name for the attribute differences. For text comparisons outside of these apps, online tools like Draftable Online and QuickDiff can be used, offering features such as side-by-side comparison and highlighting of differences.
