Chrome split screen: How to view pages side by side in your browser
Blog post from Zapier
Google Chrome has introduced a new feature called Split View, allowing users to view two tabs side by side within a single tab, eliminating the need for third-party extensions. This feature, previously referred to as Split Tabs and Side-by-Side Tabs, provides the convenience of multitasking by enabling users to easily switch between tabs without losing track of their work. Users can activate Chrome Split View by selecting "Add Tab to New Split View" or "New Split View with Current Tab" to arrange existing tabs side by side. While the feature allows resizing of the tab panes by dragging the divider, rearranging the panes or changing the displayed page can be cumbersome. Although Split View is useful for displaying simple pages, its limitations on smaller screens may lead users to prefer alternative methods, such as toggling between full pages or using an additional screen.
