Zama has launched updated versions of its products, TFHE-rs (v1.1), Concrete (v2.10), and Concrete ML (v1.9), which aim to enhance the accessibility, ease, and speed of homomorphic encryption. TFHE-rs v1.1 features improvements for both GPU and CPU backends, including matched cryptographic parameters for GPUs to reduce errors, multi-GPU support, and expanded scalar operations on the CPU for increased efficiency. Concrete v2.10 introduces "Concrete for Rust," integrating fully homomorphic encryption directly into the Rust programming ecosystem, marking a significant advancement for production-grade applications. Concrete ML v1.9 supports the TFHE-rs ciphertext format, facilitating the integration of machine learning models into Rust-based FHE pipelines, and offers performance enhancements for the LoRA LLM fine-tuning protocol, along with a new client SDK for creating FHE-enabled browser and mobile applications.
