Dfns and Zama Partner to Unlock Institutional Liquidity on Public Blockchains Through Confidential Wallet Infrastructure

A partnership between Dfns and Zama Protocol is transforming the institutional landscape by enabling confidential, compliant transactions at scale on public blockchains using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). This integration, which embeds the confidential token standard natively into Dfns's wallet and transaction stack, allows over 400 enterprise clients to make encrypted onchain transactions without compromising privacy, control, or compliance, particularly on Ethereum and EVM chains. By using ERC-7984, sensitive data such as balances and transfer amounts remain encrypted, allowing institutions to conduct real-time settlements, manage payments, and handle banking and custody operations without exposing sensitive information. This development offers a blockchain equivalent of banking privacy, where transactions are private by default, but authorized parties like auditors or regulators can access records when needed, thus fitting seamlessly into existing compliance frameworks.
