Confidential Tokens Are Now Live in Zerion Wallet
Blog post from Zama
Zama announced that Zerion Wallet now natively supports confidential tokens on Ethereum through the Zama Protocol, allowing users to view encrypted token balances alongside public holdings while retaining self-custody. Balances remain encrypted onchain, and users can reveal them only through signed, time-limited permits that do not grant Zerion ongoing access. The integration uses the ERC-7984 confidential-token standard and Zama’s access-control mechanisms to combine privacy, programmability, public-chain verifiability, and selective disclosure for compliance needs. Zama also highlighted its existing confidential DeFi ecosystem, which includes 16 Morpho-based yield vaults covering assets such as USDC, USDT, AUSD, WBTC, and tGBP, and said Zerion plans to add vault discovery, deposits, position management, and confidential yield tracking in coming weeks.
