Confidential Rewards with Merkl Are Now Available to Claim

Zama has enabled direct claiming of confidential $cZAMA rewards in its app for users who joined Merkl incentive campaigns on eligible confidential vaults, completing a private workflow from deposits and yield earning to incentive payouts. Launched alongside confidential access to 16 curated Morpho vaults in September, the system lets Merkl calculate rewards using delegated access to encrypted balances, while keeping individual holdings and reward amounts hidden from public onchain view. Users must enable the extra APY option when depositing to share encrypted balance data with Merkl, as deposits without this permission are ineligible. Rewards from confidential vaults accrue on confidential vault shares and may be claimed during active campaigns, while rewards associated with public vaults offering confidential access are distributed after campaigns end; all payouts use confidential transfers. Users can review earned rewards on Merkl, connect the same wallet to the Zama app, and claim the resulting confidential $cZAMA transfer.
