JetBrains users have benefited from the WireMock plugin, which allows for seamless integration of WireMock's open-source mocking capabilities directly into IntelliJ, enabling users to start, stop, and configure mock HTTP servers without leaving the IDE. With over 200,000 downloads, the plugin has proven popular, and the WireMock team has now taken ownership to expand its functionality into WireMock Cloud. This update introduces features like logging into WireMock Cloud directly from the plugin, real-time syncing between local IDEs and the cloud, and the ability to create and push mock APIs directly from the editor. These enhancements aim to streamline workflows by reducing context switching and syncing errors, facilitating faster prototype and test API iterations.
