Wave 10: The Windsurf Browser

The Windsurf Browser is an AI-integrated Chromium-based browser designed to enhance productivity by maintaining a user's flow state while working. It offers typical browser functionalities, such as debugging apps, searching the web, and viewing documentation, and works seamlessly with the Windsurf Editor to create a more efficient workflow. Released in beta, it is available to users on self-serve plans and aims to improve through community feedback. The browser is part of a broader system that captures a comprehensive timeline of user actions, enhancing the effectiveness of AI models like SWE-1, which has been optimized to be highly aware of browser actions. This integration allows the AI to take over tasks traditionally performed by developers, based on a holistic view of past actions across various platforms. The Windsurf Browser represents a continuation of the company's ongoing improvements and will be part of a series of new features concluding in Wave 10.
