Codeium in Databricks Notebooks
Blog post from Windsurf
Developers can now access free AI-powered code completion in Databricks notebooks using the Codeium Chrome extension, which offers real-time code and comment generation, supports both single and multi-line completions, and understands existing code's context, syntax, and naming conventions. The extension is designed for the new Monaco-editor-based notebooks, soon to be the default for Databricks, although users can already opt in through their settings. Codeium is uniquely compatible with Databricks notebooks and can also be used in various standalone IDEs and web platforms. Users can try Codeium without installation in the web Playground and find installation instructions for other platforms on the provided website.
