Cascade has introduced Planning Mode, a feature that allows users to collaboratively work on long-term goals by creating an editable live markdown file of goals and tasks, enabling the agent to adapt actions in real-time. The launch of the Windsurf Browser, which integrates AI and flow awareness, enhances collaboration by incorporating browser activity into shared timelines, similar to how Cascade interacts with IDEs and terminals. Improvements include better file citations, themed code blocks, and retired Legacy mode in favor of more advanced Chat and Write functionalities. Additionally, a new data center in Frankfurt supports European enterprise customers by ensuring data processing and retention within EU borders, offering the same capabilities as the US cluster.
