The team is gradually expanding this feature to other IDEs like JetBrains, prioritizing users through a referral-based waitlist. Additionally, the Codeium Chrome extension, a unique AI autocomplete tool for web IDEs, has been open-sourced, enhancing its accessibility. Codeium celebrated its blog post reaching the top of HackerNews, distinguishing itself from competitors by not emitting GPL, which underscores its commitment to user protection. Another enhancement is the Inline Fill in the Middle (FIM) feature, which now autocompletes code on the same line, and the release of a new model supporting 30 more languages, bringing the total to over 70.
