Webflow’s latest MCP update expands what AI agents can do through conversational workflows, adding support for native GSAP-powered interactions, more precise CMS querying, and Webflow Cloud deployment management. Agents can now create editable Webflow interactions such as scroll triggers, hover effects, load animations, and multi-step timelines that appear in the Interactions panel rather than being embedded as custom code. CMS improvements allow agents to sort, filter, query reference and custom fields, and paginate results in a single request, reducing unnecessary data retrieval and token use for tasks such as audits and bulk edits. For Webflow Cloud applications, agents can deploy projects, check deployment status, inspect failures, and resolve issues without leaving the conversation, while secrets and environment variables remain restricted to the CLI to protect sensitive information.
