Introducing Codeflow: our open-source interview environment

Codeflow, developed by Webflow for engineering interviews, is an open-source local development environment available on GitHub that aims to eliminate the distractions of browser-based coding platforms by allowing candidates to use their own machines and tools. This approach provides a more authentic representation of an engineer's workflow by enabling screen sharing to observe candidates' interactions with code, terminal, and AI tools during interviews. Codeflow focuses on exercises that mirror real-world engineering tasks, emphasizing the integration of AI as a tool rather than a crutch, and evaluating candidates on their ability to navigate existing codebases, solve layered problems, and balance trade-offs.
