Interactions, agent instructions, and Cloud deploys in Webflow MCP
Blog post from Webflow
Webflow’s updated MCP server expands what AI agents can do across Webflow sites and Cloud apps, including filtering and sorting CMS data, managing page branches, and publishing changes. Agents can now build native, editable Webflow Interactions for effects such as cursor-responsive buttons, scroll-triggered word-by-word text reveals, and synchronized sticky navigation, although users are encouraged to review animation quality and use custom GSAP code when native interactions are insufficient. The update also lets agents analyze a site’s colors, typography, components, content, and brand patterns to generate draft guidelines for design systems, assets, CMS use, and writing style, which users should review before enabling. For Webflow Cloud applications, agents can modify source code, push changes, monitor deployments, inspect build and runtime logs, retry failed deployments, create apps, manage branch environments, roll back releases, and view custom domains. These capabilities are already available to users with the Webflow MCP server connected to an agent.
