How to write more inclusively

Amidst a flood of spam, an insightful email emerged, offering a guide on "Writing about people," which proved immediately beneficial and inspired the creation of anti-racist writing guidelines for the Webflow team. Despite the prevalence of virtual communication during the pandemic, writing remained a primary mode of interaction within the team and with customers. To educate the team on how language can either exclude or include, the author collaborated with a group from the DEI council to develop inclusive language guidelines. The summary of the most impactful recommendations and a downloadable reference sheet aims to contribute to creating thoughtful, empathetic, user-centric, and inclusive content.
