Blog post from Webflow
Webflow announced Source by Webflow alongside 151 recent quality-of-life improvements driven largely by user feedback, with new and upcoming features intended to help marketing teams and AI agents build, manage, localize, and optimize websites. Newly released capabilities include visual editing of AI-generated code components, CMS support for reusable components, and a breakpoint canvas that displays desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts side by side, while performance improvements have accelerated Designer actions, site rendering, and publishing. Upcoming additions include native popovers for interfaces such as modals and menus, default components for slots to enforce design-system guardrails, agentic translation that automatically updates localized copy across languages, and component style props that constrain selectable design options. Webflow also highlighted recent updates such as on-canvas spacing tools, component-specific canvases, pan and zoom, component visibility controls, slot restrictions, and expanded localization controls for tone, custom code, and component properties.
