Changes to Warp’s pricing: Introducing Build

Warp is restructuring its paid plans to introduce a single, usage-based "Build" plan at $20 per month, replacing the previous Pro, Turbo, and Lightspeed plans. This plan includes 1,500 AI credits, the option to bring your own API key (BYOK) for AI models, and cheaper Reload credits which roll over for up to 12 months. The Business plan, now $50 per user per month, mirrors the Build plan but adds features like Single Sign-On (SSO) and Zero Data Retention (ZDR) for enhanced security. The changes aim to address issues with credit usage inefficiencies and unsustainable scaling from the legacy plans, allowing Warp to better align user costs with actual usage while maintaining long-term viability. Existing users will transition to the new plans upon renewal after December 1, 2025, with immediate changes for new customers. The adjustments are designed to minimize disruption, although some churn is expected as users adapt to the new pricing structure.
