Using Workflows and Commands.dev to Remember Commands We Often Forget

Developers often struggle with remembering complex terminal commands, leading to frustration and wasted time searching through documentation or online forums. To address this issue, Warp introduced two products: Workflows, an in-app feature that allows users to search for hard-to-remember commands directly within the terminal; and Commands.dev, a catalog of popular terminal commands that can be searched by name, description, or syntax. Both features are community-driven, with contributions from Warp's team and its user base. The ultimate goal is to create a centralized source for all terminal commands, making it easier for developers to find the commands they need without switching context away from their terminal or IDE.
