Vultr Kubernetes Engine is Now Generally Available

Vultr Kubernetes Engine (VKE) has been launched as a generally available service, allowing users to create fully managed Kubernetes clusters across 24 global locations quickly. This service simplifies the typically complex and time-consuming process of setting up Kubernetes by leveraging Vultr's cloud infrastructure, offering a CNCF Certified Conformant service that ensures easy deployment and management of Kubernetes applications. Vultr introduces a cost-effective approach by providing a free control plane, contrasting with other providers who charge substantial fees, and users only pay for the resources they actually use. To complement VKE, a new globally available Block Storage (HDD) product is introduced, enabling the attachment of large persistent storage to Kubernetes clusters and VMs, catering to applications with less demanding disk I/O requirements.
