VENOM Vulnerability Response

VENOM CVE-2015-3456 is a critical security vulnerability in QEMU's floppy drive controller that could allow an attacker to execute malicious code with elevated privileges on the host node in virtualized environments. Announced by CrowdStrike, the vulnerability has prompted immediate action from the Vultr security team, which has already updated all affected instances to protect its customers without requiring any action from them.
