New on Vultr Marketplace: Ant Media Server
Blog post from Vultr
Ant Media Server, a low latency streaming engine software, is now available on the Vultr Marketplace, offering both Enterprise and Community Editions. The server provides ultra-low latency streaming through WebRTC technology, enabling real-time streaming and offering a range of features such as adaptive bitrate control, simulcasting to social media platforms, and support for various codecs like VP8, H264, and H265. It also includes capabilities for remote management via REST APIs and SDKs for Android, iOS, Flutter, Unity, ReactNative, and JavaScript, allowing media access from multiple devices. The Enterprise Edition supports features like auto-scalable clustering and VoD recording, while the Community Edition excludes ultra-low latency streaming and certain scalability options. Ant Media Server runs on Linux and macOS, with support for x64 architecture, and is recommended to be used on Optimized Cloud Compute instances with at least 4 vCPUs and 8 GB RAM. Users can access a rich set of features including secure streaming with one-time token control, object detection via Tensorflow, and 360-degree streaming, while the server's deployment can be initiated through the Vultr Marketplace or manually as per provided guidelines.
