Managed PostgreSQL now available at Vultr
Blog post from Vultr
Vultr has launched Managed Databases for PostgreSQL, expanding its services after introducing a similar offering for MySQL. PostgreSQL is an open-source object-relational database known for its reliability and performance, and Vultr's managed service allows businesses to capitalize on these benefits without the hassle of managing the database themselves. Users can deploy database clusters in minutes, with the Vultr control panel simplifying the management of users, databases, and migrations. The service includes automatic daily backups and the ability to recover data to a specific point in time using write-ahead logs. With 27 global locations, Vultr ensures high availability and scalability by using a cluster of primary and replica nodes to maintain service continuity even in case of failures. The managed databases can scale with business needs, offering flexible options for performance and resources, starting at $15 per month. Vultr plans to add Redis support soon and encourages businesses to consult for migration from existing database solutions.
