Vultr has launched a new Optimized Cloud Compute product line alongside a refreshed Cloud Compute lineup of virtual machines, offering a range of High Performance VMs equipped with 100% NVMe SSD storage and powered by 3rd Generation AMD EPYC processors. These new instances cater to various needs, from mission-critical enterprise applications to personal projects, with product lines including Optimized Cloud Compute, Cloud Compute, and Bare Metal. Optimized Cloud Compute features dedicated vCPUs for consistent performance, making it suitable for business applications, while Cloud Compute offers affordable solutions with shared vCPUs for bursty applications. The introduction of AMD processor-powered VMs marks a first for Vultr, offering up to 64 cores in a single CPU with excellent performance per core. The new product line aims to provide a more affordable alternative to big tech cloud services by offering various server types like General Purpose, CPU Optimized, Memory Optimized, and Storage Optimized, to support a broad range of workloads. Vultr's services are available globally across 24 locations on five continents, and businesses or service providers interested in the new offerings can contact sales or join the partner program.
