Introducing USD Payment Support for Prepaid Customers

Vonage is enhancing its Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) by introducing multi-currency support, starting with USD for prepaid customers, to increase accessibility and flexibility for businesses globally. Customers using USD can top up their accounts via PayPal or Braintree, though WeChat is not yet supported for USD transactions. New users can choose between EUR or USD during account creation, with this choice linked to their API key permanently, while existing EUR prepaid customers must create new accounts to switch to USD. Some currency changes for existing accounts may be requested via support tickets but are not guaranteed. Additionally, Vonage offers post-paid billing options in local currencies for those who inquire through their Contact Us form. This initiative marks the beginning of more flexible payment solutions, and Vonage invites users to engage with their community for further discussions and support.
