Announcing SSL Security Enhancements

Vonage has implemented SSL security enhancements across its API domains to bolster encryption and maintain compatibility with modern clients, featuring longer ECDSA certificates alongside existing RSA-2048 certificates. This update, part of a broader security and compliance initiative, aligns with modern cryptographic standards and aims to improve the security and resilience of the platform while meeting specific regional compliance requirements. Although all customers using Vonage APIs over HTTPS will be technically affected, the vast majority will not need to take action, with only a small number of users with outdated systems potentially encountering connectivity issues. To ensure compatibility, Vonage has provided a test endpoint for users to validate their system's connectivity with the new setup, and they encourage users to reach out to support if issues arise.
