Summary

We are pleased to announce that developers can now get in-depth analytical usage of the Verify API right from the Vonage Dashboard! The Verify API allows developers to integrate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) within their applications without having to hand-roll a solution. It can use various channels such as Silent Authentication, SMS, and Voice to perform a Verify workflow. Developers can now access easy-to-read visuals for their usage of this API, which can help drive important business decisions. To access the dashboard, simply log in to your Vonage account and expand the Analytics header. From there, you can view high-level and detailed analytics, including successful vs. failed requests, territory breakdowns, and aggregated spend totals. You can also track usage per channel, including fallback channels and user-picked mechanisms. Additionally, a new Verify log provides debugging information such as API keys, device phone numbers, and carrier data. The feature is part of ongoing API evolution, with future updates to be announced through the Developer Community Slack, Vonage Dashboard account, or social media.
