Vercel for Enterprise
Blog post from Vercel
Vercel presents Enterprise Apps and Agents as a platform for managing the growing use of AI by both engineers and “citizen developers,” aiming to balance faster software creation with centralized security, governance, and cost controls. The platform provides a single deployment and administration layer integrated with enterprise identity providers, covering role-based access, private-by-default applications, deployment protection, model selection, token budgets, data retention, integrations, observability, and security monitoring. New capabilities include generally available Bring Your Own Cloud on AWS, which runs application functions within a customer’s AWS environment, and public-beta Enterprise-Managed Authorization through Vercel Connect, which lets agents access connected services according to employee identity permissions. Vercel cites Klaviyo, Mercor, Meta Superintelligence Labs, and its own Vertex support agent as examples of organizations using the platform to accelerate deployment while maintaining safeguards; Vertex reportedly resolves 91% of customer support cases autonomously.
