Jev is the fastest-adopted model in AI Gateway history

TypeSafe AI’s Jev, a probabilistic decision model introduced on September 15 for structured software decisions, became AI Gateway’s fastest-adopted recent model launch, reaching nearly 13% of paid teams within 24 hours and surpassing all comparison models within its first 12 hours. Its first-day usage was reported as more than double that of the GPT-5.6 family and over six times that of Fable 5.1, while other recent launches remained below 7% after a day. Jev processes application context and parallel questions to return typed decisions, scores, Boolean responses, and associated probabilities that software can use directly, supporting functions such as agent routing, workflow control, risk scoring, output verification, guardrails, and escalation to human review. TypeSafe AI reports that its workflow evaluations found Jev could be up to 194 times faster and 445 times cheaper than language models, though the durability of its early adoption remains to be seen.
