Introducing Vercel Agent: Your new Vercel teammate

Vercel has introduced Vercel Agent, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance development workflows by leveraging deep platform knowledge, application code, and telemetry data to accelerate and improve the quality of software delivery. Now available in Public Beta, Vercel Agent offers two main functionalities: Code Review and Investigations. The Code Review feature integrates with GitHub workflows to provide in-depth, validated, and context-aware feedback on pull requests, simulating builds in a Vercel Sandbox to ensure reliability and accuracy. Meanwhile, the Investigations feature utilizes real-time and historical data to diagnose production issues by identifying the root causes of anomalies, transforming complex debugging processes into swift, actionable insights. As Vercel Agent evolves, it aims to automate further aspects of the development process, from proposing fixes to managing the entire workflow, positioning itself as a comprehensive Agent-as-a-Service solution that integrates seamlessly into development environments.
