The first three women at Vectara, including the author, Felicia Jeffley, brought their experience and enthusiasm to the company, recognizing the importance of nurturing a culture of success for women. They were inspired by a McKinsey study on women in the workspace and decided to take action, creating initiatives such as an Anti-Burnout Program, Monthly Recognition Post, and Allyship meetings with the CEO. Their efforts aim to promote healthy work/life balance, visibility, and positive feedback, ultimately setting a positive precedent for future generations of women at Vectara.
