Composer is a new AI assistant integrated into the Vapi Dashboard that streamlines the creation of voice agents by automating tasks traditionally requiring significant user input and technical knowledge. By simply describing the desired functionality, Composer can build fully operational agents, configure necessary settings, provision resources like phone numbers, and establish integrations with external tools such as CRMs or scheduling systems. It leverages community-tested patterns and Vapi-specific knowledge to deliver agents that are ready for immediate testing and use. Composer also assists in debugging by analyzing call logs, identifying issues, and proposing or applying fixes. This tool aims to reduce the time from concept to deployment, eliminating the need for in-depth documentation reading or an engineering team, and is currently available in an Alpha release for users to test and provide feedback.
