In June, significant advancements were made to enhance the capabilities and control over voice agents, with the key milestone being the release of production-ready workflows. These workflows, now out of beta, enable dynamic per-call behavior, faster development, real-time debugging, and the orchestration of complex call flows. Additionally, new features support outbound campaign management via API, the introduction of web chat for deploying text-based agents, and enhancements to developer tools and API functionalities, such as granular cost observability and improved call log filtering. The platform also expanded its toolset with new models, transcribers, and voice options, including multilingual capabilities. Notably, community engagements were highlighted with the announcement of VapiCon 2025 and local meetups, alongside a completed Vapi Build Challenge that showcased innovative submissions. A few breaking changes and deprecations were also made to streamline the API's performance, prompting users to adapt to the updated features and settings.
