Vantage Updates Temporal Cloud Integration to Use the Cloud Billing API

Vantage has updated its Temporal Cloud integration to utilize Temporal's new Cloud Billing API, providing customers with a more precise, invoice-aligned view of their Temporal expenses without the need for manual rate entry. This integration offers an accurate representation of costs by including contracted enterprise rates, support fees, taxes, and additional charges, which were previously omitted in the older model that relied on the Usage API and manual rate inputs. The new Cloud Billing API fetches billing data, including usage charges and tags, on a daily schedule, enabling users to see their actual invoiced expenses. This update is available to all Vantage customers, and those with existing integrations can opt-in for the new setup by enabling Cloud Billing Data in their settings. The integration ensures that Temporal Cloud costs are now more accurately reflected and allocates expenses alongside other infrastructure providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
