Vantage Launches Token Allocation Support for AWS Bedrock

Vantage has launched Token Allocation Support for AWS Bedrock, enabling customers to attribute Bedrock spending to request-level business dimensions such as teams, customers, applications, features, environments, and experiments through metadata captured in Model Invocation Logs. The service reads customer-owned S3 logs, matches aggregated token usage with eligible AWS Cost and Usage Report rows, and proportionally splits costs while preserving the AWS bill as the authoritative total. This addresses limitations of IAM-principal-based attribution when multiple workloads or customers share the same identity, allowing enriched metadata to be used in Vantage Cost Reports, Virtual Tags, budgets, forecasting, chargeback, and margin analysis. Customers must enable Bedrock invocation logging by account and Region, configure S3 access, and attach custom requestMetadata when they need allocation beyond automatically recorded dimensions; Vantage receives read-only permissions and states that it does not collect prompts or completions or use enrichment data for model training. The feature is included without an additional Vantage charge for eligible customers with AWS billing integrations, supports multi-account and multi-Region deployments, and provides import-history metrics to help customers assess log ingestion and bill matching.
