Vantage Launches Tag Management Settings

Vantage has introduced Tag Management Settings, a tool designed to provide users with a unified view of their virtual and provider-created cost allocation tags, enhancing the management of metadata associated with usage and costs. This feature allows customers to consolidate their tag keys and values into a single list, identify the source of each tag, and manage the visibility of tag keys to streamline reporting processes. Users with the "Owner" role can hide redundant or obsolete tag keys, making it easier to build accurate reports without confusion from similar or unused tags. The settings also differentiate between provider and virtual tags, supporting consistent cost tagging across providers and extending coverage to untagged usage. These updates are now available to all users at no additional cost and can be accessed through the Tags page in the Vantage console's settings section.
