Vantage Launches Support for OpenAI Codex Costs

Vantage has launched support for tracking OpenAI Codex costs and token usage, extending its existing OpenAI Platform integration to cover Codex activity from clients including Codex CLI, Web, VS Code, and GitHub. Available to Vantage customers with eligible OpenAI Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise workspaces, the integration uses a dedicated, read-only Codex Analytics API key and workspace ID to import daily aggregated estimated costs and token usage, with up to 90 days of historical data on initial setup. Customers can analyze, allocate, budget for, and receive anomaly alerts on Codex spending by client, model, user, token type, speed tier, and other tags within Vantage Cost Reports, although client- and token-level dollar values are estimated allocations reconciled to OpenAI’s model-level costs. The integration does not collect prompts, generated code, or audit-event content, does not provide Active Resources at launch, and is separate from both OpenAI Platform API spending and Azure OpenAI costs.
