Vantage Launches Support for Elastic
Blog post from Vantage
Vantage has introduced support for tracking Elastic costs within its console, enabling users to monitor their Elastic spending alongside other infrastructure expenses. This integration allows customers to connect their Elastic accounts, automatically import usage data, and analyze costs related to search, observability, and security workloads. By using a Billing Admin API key, Vantage accesses detailed cost information such as data transfer, storage, APM, and Kibana costs, facilitating cost allocation, anomaly detection, and consumption analysis across various cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Previously reliant on Elastic's billing dashboards or CSV exports, users can now benefit from a more cohesive and automated cost-tracking solution. Elastic support is immediately available to all Vantage customers, and while there is no additional fee for the integration, Elastic costs will count towards the Vantage quota tier, potentially necessitating an upgrade if limits are exceeded.
