Vantage Launches Support for Datadog Cost Tags

Vantage has introduced a new feature that allows users to view and manage Datadog costs by using usage attribution tags, enabling customers to create detailed Cost Reports. This enhancement allows users to filter and group Datadog costs by specific tag keys and values, providing a more granular understanding of expenses associated with particular teams or applications. Previously, Vantage users could only filter Datadog costs by organization or service, making it challenging to identify specific cost drivers without isolating all Datadog usage. The update automatically imports tag data for Datadog organizations, breaking down costs into committed and on-demand categories by tag, and allows integration with other providers like AWS or Azure. This functionality is available at no additional cost to all Vantage customers with Datadog integration and tags enabled, offering a comprehensive view of cloud expenditures across multiple platforms.
