Vantage Launches Support for Azure and GCP Financial Commitment Reports
Blog post from Vantage
Vantage has expanded its Financial Commitment Reports to support Azure and Google Cloud Platform alongside AWS, allowing customers to measure commitment coverage, effective savings rates, and total savings for Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, and GCP Committed Use Discounts. Users with connected eligible Azure or GCP integrations can create provider-specific or multi-cloud reports with normalized data, filtering and grouping results by dimensions such as service, subscription or project, commitment type, region, and tags. The reports identify commitment-covered usage, unused commitment charges, and remaining On-Demand spend, can be saved to dashboards, exported as CSV, and managed through Vantage’s API and Terraform provider without additional cost. Azure reporting supports Standard/Pay-As-You-Go, MCA, and EA accounts but not CSP, while GCP reporting excludes sustained-use discounts and promotional credits; Azure reports similarly exclude Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitments. Azure and GCP reports use daily rather than hourly granularity, are not automatically backfilled, and offer On-Demand views for either commitment-eligible costs or a broader relevant-cost scope excluding marketplace charges.
