Vantage Launches SQL Billing Engine for MSPs: Gain Complete Control Over Customer Pricing

Vantage has introduced the SQL Billing Engine for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), which allows these partners to create customized billing logic for their end customers using SQL. This new feature gives MSPs full control over pricing by enabling them to define and apply SQL-based billing rules, such as markups, discounts, and one-time charges, to customer costs, utilizing the Vantage VQL column schema or specific provider data like AWS Cost and Usage Reports. Previously limited by predefined billing rules, MSPs can now leverage familiar SQL operations, including UPDATE, DELETE, and INSERT, to manage complex pricing models tailored to individual customer agreements. The SQL Billing Engine is available at no additional cost to Vantage MSP customers, supports a variety of data sources, and offers flexibility in manipulating both raw and processed data, with future support for more providers planned.
