Vantage Launches Remote Instances MCP Server
Blog post from Vantage
Vantage has introduced the Remote MCP Server for instances.vantage.sh, enabling seamless interaction with its platform through Large Language Model (LLM) tools and open-source agents without the need for infrastructure maintenance or package installation. This new feature allows users to incorporate AWS and Azure resource pricing lookups into their workflows, enhancing the capability to query and compare instance data such as pricing, hardware specifications, and regional availability. Vantage, a maintainer of the popular open-source site for EC2 instance comparison, has modernized and added features to instances.vantage.sh, including this server, which supports various LLM clients. The service is free, requires no Vantage account, and keeps user queries private, offering a convenient way for users to integrate public cloud data with private cloud cost information in LLM sessions.
