Vantage Launches PVC Labels and Node Labels in Kubernetes Agent Cost Data

Vantage has introduced support for Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) Labels and Node Labels in its Kubernetes Agent Cost Data, allowing customers to achieve more granular cost attribution for storage and node expenses within Kubernetes environments. With these enhancements, users can now utilize PVC Labels to attribute storage usage to specific applications or teams, enabling better cost allocation and targeted storage optimization. Similarly, Node Labels can be used to attribute compute costs according to infrastructure characteristics, monitor usage across node pools, and identify optimization opportunities. The new functionality is accessible through Cost Reports, Virtual Tag configurations, and Kubernetes Efficiency Reports, providing users with deeper insights into their Kubernetes infrastructure costs without any additional fees. To implement these features, users need to upgrade their Kubernetes agent to version v1.0.30 and configure settings accordingly.
