Vantage Launches Persistent Metrics Recovery for Kubernetes

Vantage has introduced Persistent Metrics Recovery for its Kubernetes agent, enhancing reliability by ensuring that resource utilization metrics are retained even when the Vantage upload endpoint is unreachable. This new feature allows the agent to store hourly metric reports in a specified fallback location for up to 96 hours, addressing previous gaps in data due to connectivity issues with the Vantage API or S3. The agent automatically retries uploads until successful, ensuring continuous data reporting without additional configuration or cost to users. This improvement aims to prevent data loss during extended outages and is available to all Kubernetes customers by upgrading to version v1.0.29 of the agent.
